"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." |
When people ask me what I do, I tell them I'm an advocacy and communications strategist that works specifically with non-profits.
Over the last 5 years I have worked on multiple affordable housing and poverty reduction initiatives, I am involved in campaigns around blood supply and safety, starting a conversation about best practices for elderly people with Down syndrome in long term care facilities, and working towards the elimination of hepatitis C.

We are in what Seth Godin calls the "connection economy" and where I bring my highest value to my clients is in consistently seeing the gaps, making the connections that move projects forward, and allowing their message to get through to the right people at the right time. And when I'm not saving the world?
I live about an hour north of Toronto, Canada, with my husband and 3 kids. In the summer I love to eat cheeseburgers out on the patio and SUP on Kempenfelt Bay and I've never met a hammock I didn't like, but in the winter I basically put on my slippers and hibernate. I read a LOT. I love to travel. And I'm in a band. |
